David Golan is a co-founder and CTO of Viz.ai - a digital healthcare company harnessing deep learning to analyze medical data and improve clinical workflow.Viz.ai developed the First ever FDA-approved AI-powered automatic triage system for stroke and is commercially installed in over 400 hospitals across the US. Prior to founding Viz.ai, David was a Fulbright postdoctoral scholar at Stanford University, working on leveraging deep learning for the analysis of medical imaging and genetic data. David holds a PhD in Statistics and Machine learning from Tel-Aviv University, and has co-authored more than 20 scientific papers including three publications in the journal Science. Prior to his academic career, David founded the ML team of b-hive Networks, an Israeli startup which was acquired by VMWare in 2008.

Ofir Zamir, Director of solutions architecture at Nvidia. leading a team of AI experts that help customers to utilize GPU computing for accelerating the entire Data Science pipeline from training to inference at any scale. Prior to Nvidia Ofir led system engineering at VMware for a decade and was specialized in software defined data center and cloud computing. Ofir holds B.SC in Communications Systems Engineering from Ben Gurion university.

Ziv Freund joined Elbit Systems – EW & SIGINT – Elisra in 2003 as an algorithm engineer. Until 2017 he led the computer vision research group . Since 2017 he is the head of AI R&D group in Elisra. Ziv holds a BSC and MSC in Electrical Engineering and an MBA, all from Tel Aviv University.

Dr. Aran is an Asistant Professor and the principal investigator of the Biomedical Data Science Lab at the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology. He is also a senior data scientist at Anthem Innovation Israel. His research uses data science and AI to advance biological and medical research. Dr. Aran develops computational tools and applies them to integrate and analyze big data from multiple sources, including genomics. epigenomics and clinical data. His research aims to advance the understanding of the tumor microenvironment, as well as the immune system, and their relationship with potential treatments. Dr. Aran has gained international recognition for his contributions to the understanding of the tumor microenvironment and other diseases. The tools he developed serve thousands of researchers every year to conduct complicated analysis in an automated, user-friendly manner.

Dr. Ofer Springer received his PhD from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem where he applied machine learning and explicit statistical models to observational challenges in astrophysics, such as mapping dark matter in galaxy clusters and detecting lensed quasars. Ofer is now a Mobileye Fellow of Computer Vision algorithms and leads a research team developing vision based 3D perception for autonomous driving applications.

Itay is an AI researcher at Intel. He studied human behavior with non-linear kernel methods for his PhD thesis at the Hebrew University. His earlier work at Intel focused on Natural Language Processing for Sales and Marketing team (SMG) and he is currently positioned as a tech R&D team lead. He teaches a university introductory Data Science course and co-authored an introductory AI programming book.

I'm a PhD Student at the School of Computer Science and Engineering in the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, advised by Shai Shalev-Shwartz. I also lead a research team in Mobileye. I completed my B.Sc in Computer Science and Mathematics at the Hebrew University. My research focus is Learning Theory and Theoretical Foundations of Deep Learning. I'm mainly interested in computational aspects of learning and optimization.

Niva Elkin-Koren is a Professor of Law at Tel Aviv University Faculty of Law, and a Faculty Associate at the Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University. She was the founding director of the Center for Cyber, Law and Policy (CCLP) and of the Haifa Center for Law & Technology (HCLT). During 2009-2012 she served as Dean of the Faculty of Law at the University of Haifa. Prof. Elkin-Koren has been a Visiting Professor of Law at Harvard University, Columbia Law School, UCLA, NYU, George Washington University and Villanova University School of Law. She is the Chair of the Scientific Advisory Council, of the Alexander von Humboldt Institute for Internet and Society in Berlin, a member of the Executive Committee of Association for the Advancement of Teaching and Research in Intellectual Property (ATRIP), and a board member of the MIPLC Scientific Advisory Board at the Munich IP Law Center, Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition. Prof. Elkin-Koren received her LL.B from Tel-Aviv University Faculty of Law in 1989, her LL.M from Harvard Law School in 1991, and her S.J.D from Stanford Law School in 1995. Her research is located at the intersection of law, computer science and data science. She has written extensively on content moderation by social media platforms, governance of AI, and governance by AI.

Dr. Mendel was the General Manager Cybersecurity COE at Intel. He is a serial cybersecurity entrepreneur; He has been the CEO and Co-Founder of SCsquare Ltd., where he founded a business enabler for advanced cybersecurity technologies. Dr. Mendel holds 16 approved patents in the area of cybersecurity. His career in cybersecurity over the past 20 years is a unique mixture of broad practical experience and research expertise. His practice included extensive involvement in cybersecurity offensive projects, research and development, business development and product management. Proven worldwide track records in secure operating systems, digital rights management (DRM), security certification (CC, FIPS, EMV), penetration test, reverses engineering, Machine Learning, Blockchain, IoT security and Smart Grid cybersecurity. His academic research topics includes: economic perspective of cybersecurity attacks, Quantum, Blockchain technology with a special focus on cybersecurity attacks, privacy issues and business continuation under cyber-attack.

Cedric Sabbah is Director for International Cybersecurity and IT Law Affairs, at the Office of the Deputy Attorney General (International Law) in Israel's Ministry of Justice. He advises Israel’s National Cyber Directorate and other government departments on questions of cybersecurity, internet governance, artificial intelligence and information technology generally, as they relate to international law. He is Israel's delegate to CAHAI, the Council of Europe's Ad Hoc Committee on Artificial Intelligence. In addition, he has served as Israel's delegate UNCITRAL and the Hague Conference on Private International Law, focusing on dispute resolution and technology. He served as a foreign clerk at Israel's Supreme Court, then as legislative counsel in Canada’s Department of Justice (2002-2006). Cedric worked as an M&A and hi-tech lawyer in the firm of Ephraim Abramson & Co in Jerusalem (2007-2011). He is a guest lecturer on cybersecurity, internet governance and international law and holds an LLB and LLM from the University of Montreal. Cedric is a doctoral candidate at the Hebrew University's Faculty of Law, researching extraterritorial jurisdiction in the digital age under international law and its impact on global internet governance.

Dr. Amitai Armon is the Chief Data Scientist and Principal-Engineer at Intel’s IT Artificial Intelligence group, a global group of over 200 experts, most of them located in Israel. The group uses AI to solve Intel’s challenges in diverse domains, affecting almost every computer user. This includes speeding processor design, personalizing processor manufacturing, automating sales and making computers adapt to their usage. The group utilizes a rich variety of data, including video, text and multi-dimensional time-series data, while leveraging the cutting-edge AI techniques and innovating in the field. Prior to joining Intel, Amitai was the co-Founder and Director of Research at TaKaDu, a data-science company that received multiple international awards, including the World Economic Forum Technology Pioneers award (Davos Summit). He previously was a visiting research scholar at the Los-Alamos National Lab (USA). Amitai has about 20 years of experience in performing and leading data-science work. He holds a PhD in computer-science from the Tel Aviv University in Israel, where he previously completed his BSc with honors at the age of 18. During his PhD studies he worked as a lecturer in Tel-Aviv University, where he also teaches data-science at present.

Saeed is a futurist, thought leader, author, and a public keynote speaker. He is a veteran of the UAE technology industry with over 30 years of experience driving technology adoption in various public sector organizations. He has been into many positions: the founder and former Director-General of the Emirates ID Authority, a former member of the scientific advisory committee of the UAE Space Agency, and a former Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs on information technology. Currently, He is the director of the Center for Futures Studies at the University of Dubai, an adjunct lecturer of public policy science & technology track at the Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government, the chairman of the board of Smartworld (a leading digital solutions provider in the UAE), President of the Digital Engineering Chapter at the UAE Society of Engineers, and a board member of the Emirates Safer Internet Society. He is on the advisory board of well-known startups, including Virtual Rehab Inc and 01Gov, and on advisory boards of several universities in the UAE.

He co-authored the book Digital Nation: How the UAE is building a future based on tech innovation. A first-of-its-kind book on the unique journey of the UAE to build a future based on harnessing disruptive technologies such as artificial intelligence and driving digital innovation. Recently, Dr. Saeed was a guest speaker at Oxford University AI: cloud and edge implementation course. He has written several articles and reports published at Harvard Business Review Arabia and Dubai Policy Review-Journal.

Chen Sagiv is co founder and co CEO of DeePathology Ltd., a company that brings AI to Digital Pathology. Prior to that Chen co founded SagivTech, a R&D projects company that specializes in Computer Vision and Deep Learning. Chen holds a PhD in Applied Mathematics from the Tel Aviv University and was a post doc at the University of Bremen.

As Run:AI CTO, Dr. Ronen Dar manages research and product roadmap for Run:AI, a start-up he co-founded in 2018. Previously, Ronen worked at Bell Labs, Anobit Technologies (acquired by Apple), and in the algorithms research group in Intel's mobile wireless division. He is the co-author of many patents in the fields of communication, coding and signal processing. Ronen received his B.Sc., M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from Tel Aviv University.
